William David Smith, Jr served as a Morse Code Intercept Operator with the U.S. Army Security Agency during the Cold War. His real-world experience in military intelligence and signals work brings Transmission Continues to life with authenticity and heart.

After his service, he built a successful civilian career as a financial controller for several major U.S. corporations — but his true passion remained storytelling.
